I wanted to let you know, in case you have missed it, that Diane and I are the proud grandparents of a new baby boy. Our daughter and her husband had their first child, and our third grand child. They are doing well and adjusting fine. We were in Athens a couple of days during his delivery and their stay there.
But, I have not got to see them since then. I have had the flu for the past couple of weeks and still have not gotten completely over it, though, I am doing better. I miss getting out on visitation to see many of you but I do not want to spread this around. We will be back into full swing soon. The last few days I have worked half-days trying to get back into things. I do not like missing services and being unable to do the things a pastor does.
Continue to pray for us. I am so appreciative of the cards and other ways the church has expressed their love and concern. You are a loving and caring church. When I walked into the sanctuary this past Wednesday night for Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, all of you made me feel so good to be back. Thank you so much. I hope this season of sickness will be over soon for all of us. May we not sin against each other by failing to pray for each another.
Because of Him,
Pastor Kirt
