How We Started:
This project was started over breakfast. Gene Powell, Mike Royal and I were discussing ideas for the MM (Men’s Ministries). We wanted to do something that would bring the men and boys together. So we decided to build a T-Bucket, and use the time/work as a ministry.
What we Did:
We had several father-sons at the workdays along with some guys that eventually came to church with us. We had one guy to visit the church and then joined a small group Bible study. We have see God bring the men of our church closer together than ever before. Each time we had a workday on the car we also had a Bible study that related to what we were doing to the car. (example—when we installed the radiator, Gene explained how it works and then showed how Jesus is our radiator. Jesus takes the heat out of judgment.)
Where we are Going:
We have been invited to show the T-bucket at fund raisers and at different churches already. We are in the process of getting a title and insurance so that we can drive it to events instead of towing it on a trailer.
